Acer cappadocicum Rubrum - This medium-sized deciduous tree with a spreading crown has deep purple-red and turns to a dark reddish green during summer. In autumn the leaves turn deep yellow. 'Rubrum' is insensitive to scorch during sunny periods in summer. Young twigs dark purple at first, later dark green. Ultimate height: Higher than 12 metres - Ultimate spread: wider than 8 metres.Family : Aceraceae
