Armeria maritima Rubrifolia - This unusual selection forms a low tufted mound of grassy purple-black leaves which spread out to 12". Foliage turns bronze in the fall, with contrasting globe-shaped magenta-pink pompon flowers for many weeks above the semi-evergreen foliage starting in mid to late spring, persisting into the summer. Most effective when planted in groupings. Good cut flower. Small perennial for borders or miniature gardens. Flower Height: 40 cm. Family : Plumbaginaceae
