About Berberis Diabolicum (Japanese Barberry)

Berberis thunbergii Diabolicum a deciduous shrub with small, oval, yellow foliage margined with red. Tiny clusters of yellow flowers also have a red hue, sometimes with tiny daffodil or bell shaped becoming red edible fruits, although the sharp thorns make harvesting unpleasant, birds love them.
