Bergenia emeiensis - A large leaves species with glossy evergreen foliage that is pale apple green, rather longer than wide and lax in habit. In very early spring, the 1' spikes of large flowers (white or pink) are borne atop the clumps. The flowering stems are large, tall and well branched, arching and carrying relatively large, slightly spidery, drooping flowers. Family: Saxifragaceae
