Brassica rapa Black Summer - Slow to bolt selection with light green petioles and oval dark green leaves. Leaves grow in a tight bunch and produce a distinct vase shape. Pak Choi enjoys cooler temperatures and can be planted early in spring and again in late summer for a fall crop. Harvest as needed, but never more than 1/3 of the plant at a time in order to keep the main plant productive. Excellent for flavoring a variety of dishes. Delicious when lightly steamed or sautéed for stir-fry . Superb for adding flavor to soups, stews and casseroles. Wash fruits, vegetables and herbs thoroughly before eating. Height Range:1 2-18" (30-46cm) - Space Range: 15-18" (38-46cm). Family: Brassicaceae
