Photo of Cornus canadensis (Crackerberry, bunchberry, dwarf cornel)
Cornus canadensis - One of our most attractive native wildflowers, this woodland plant makes a wonderful groundcover under a canopy of trees, or in any reasonably moist shady area. Single white Dogwood flowers appear in late spring, followed by a colourful crop of scarlet berries in the fall. Good bronzy-red fall foliage colour. Family: Cornaceae
