Cotinus coggygria Golden Spirit aka Ancot - This shrub features rich yellow foliage in summer, across the entire season, finally turning a striking mix of amber, coral and scarlet in fall. The round leaves are highly ornamental. Showy smoke-like plumes of airy panicles of lemon yellow flowers with coral-pink stalks at the ends of the branches from early to late summer. Foliage is sun tolerant and scorch-resistant unless conditions are extremely dry. Wonderful for use as a small specimen tree. Deciduous. Moderate growing; reaches 8 ft. tall, 6 ft. wide. Family: Anacardiaceae
