Crinum asiaticum A large bulb of 10 to 12 cm in diameter, provided with a neck of 15-20 cm long. It can weigh up to 10 kg. The rosette leaves are numerous. Pedunculated flowers are white, 7-10 cm long with straight oblong 5-7 cm segments. The stamens are red, with yellow anthers. The flowers are arranged in umbels at the end of a long pole. It blooms in summer. The flowers produce large fruit resembling large garlic cloves. Amaryllidaceae
