Dahlia Maki - The plant is more compact and bushy and the amount of blooms you'll get in mid to late summer is impressive. The stem is shorter, so it makes an excellent feature in containers or in front of taller dahlias. Full sun is the best for these, because you can get the most compact, even growth habit and more numerous blooms that way. The pink with purple splashed blooms flowers are phenomenal, they reach 8–10" across and each petal is covered in random streaks. Family : Asteraceae
