Echinacea purpurea Fragrant Angel - It typically grows in an upright clump to 40" tall and to 24" wide on sturdy, well-branched stems that do not need staking. Each flower (to 4-5" diameter) features horizontal, overlapping, white rays in double rows which encircle a large yellowish-orange center cone. Flowers bloom from late spring to late summer, sometimes with additional sporadic bloom until frost. Flowers are very fragrant. Narrow-ovate leaves (to 6” long) are medium green. Family: Asteraceae
