Echinacea purpurea Tomato Soup - It is a bright tomato-red coneflower. It is an upright perennial that typically grows in a clump to 2-3’ tall on sturdy, well-branched stems that do not need staking. Large flowers (to 5" diameter) feature slightly drooping, tomato-red rays with rounded, dark yellowish-brown center cones. Flowers bloom from late spring to late summer, sometimes with additional sporadic bloom until frost. Family; Asteraceae
