Photo of Hemerocallis Adorable Tiger (Daylily)
Hemerocallis Adorable Tiger Rasmussen, 1998 Tetraploid produces 5-inch-wide (12 cm) flowers atop a branching naked stem called a scape. The petal-like tepals are golden yellow and are ruffled at their edges. The three central tepals are edged in red (or dark orange-red) and have a wide red band across them. The flower throat is again golden yellow. The scapes rise from clumps of strappy deep green leaves that die back once fall frosts return. Liliaceae
