Hydrangea macrophylla Kiyosumi aka Kiyosumisawa - Forms a slightly wider and denser plant than most other Hydrangeas and will produce more flowers without being pruned than other varieties. The flowers emerge white and the edges of each petal turns pink within a week or two. Pruned plants will generally begin to produce large amounts of growth from the pruned stems within about two weeks during the growing season.. Family: Hydrangeaceae
