Photo of Lagerstroemia Rhapsody in Pink (Crape Myrtle)
Lagerstroemia Rhapsody in Pink – Also named Whit VIII - This variety of crapemyrtle has soft pink summer flowers that contrast nicely against the dark purple coloring of the new foliage growth. The petals are wrinkled like crepe paper, and blooms persist until the first frost. The ornamental value, however, may be surpassed by its fast growth. A Rhapsody in Pink crapemyrtle can grow up to 3' per year. Family: Lythraceae
