Photo of Leucosceptrum Silver Angel (woodland mint)
Leucosceptrum japonicum Silver Angel - woodland mint - It is a unique selection of the shrubby Japanese woodland mint that forms a 3' tall x 3' wide clump, composed of irregularly serrate, oblong leaves that emerge green, then change to silver with an irregular green border. The clumps, which enlarge horizontally each year, are topped in October and November with short terminal spikes resembling yellow bottle brushes. Family: Lamiaceae
