Mammillaria laui - lemon cactus It has a soft web of yellow spines and brilliant pink flowers. Cactus with spherical stem depressed at the apex to ovoid 2.5-7cm high by 1-7cm in diameter, dark green. Tapered tubers 5-12mm long by 3-7mm wide at the base, latex free. Radial spines white, even yellow, 4-9mm long. Axils glabrous or weakly woolly. Daytime flowering in spring. Carmine pink flowers, 1.2-2.5cm in diameter and 1.5-2.5cm long. Pistil with 4-6 white or yellow stigmas 0.5-2mm long. Family : Cactaceae
