Large, shiny, rich green, heart-shaped leaves and flowers emerge on separate stalks. The leaves are above the water or float on the water surface. Fragrant greenish yellow cupped flowers appear from May to October. Each flower partially opens in the morning and closes at night. Family: Nymphaeaceae
