Photo of Populus angustifolia (narrowleaf cottonwood)
Populus angustifolia - Columnar or conical shape. Slim in profile, can grow in tightly packed clusters. Leaves can cover the trees from bottom to top due to small limbs. Yellow-green to dark green leaves, long and narrow, 1-2 inches long, with finely serrated edges (similar to willows, because they are in the willow family). Showy yellow leaves in the fall. Family : Salicaceae
