Primula japonica Postford White is very long-lived and fragrant. They need part shade, rich soil and regular watering. Growing 18"" tall, they will quickly establish a good size clump and bloom in mid-to-late spring. The foliage is a medium green, oblong, spoon-shaped, semi-evergreen with finely-toothed margins to 10 inches. Clear white flowers with a red eye are borne in 1 to 6 tiered flower whorls, 5 to 25 on each stalk. Primulaceae
