Prunus armeniaca - Armenian plum fruit - Siberian apricot  - abricot - Apricots, are drupes that resemble and are closely related to peaches or plums. It is a deciduous tree growing to 9 m (29ft) by 6 m (19ft) at a medium rate. It is in flower from March to April, and the seeds ripen from July to September. The fruit is about 5cm in diameter and contains one large seed. Family: Rosaceae
