Photo of Prunus Bonfire (Peach tree)
Prunus persica Bonfire - A popular dwarf peach that is quite ornamental, with showy pink flowers in spring and a low, spreading habit. Bonfire Dwarf Ornamental Peach is covered in stunning clusters of fragrant pink flowers with coral-pink eyes along the branches in early spring, which emerge from distinctive rose flower buds before the leaves. It has burgundy foliage which emerges dark red in spring. The serrated narrow leaves do not develop any appreciable fall color. The fruit is not ornamentally significant. However, the fruit can be messy in the landscape and may require occasional clean-up. Height: 15 feet - Spread: 15 feet. Family: Rosaceae
