Quercus robur Fastigiata - A narrow-upright, pyramidal columnar, fastigiate form of English oak featuring dense crown, with nearly vertical branches, upright branching that rises at a sharp and narrow angle from the trunk. It typically matures to 50-60' tall and to 10- 20' wide. Leaves have blunt, rounded lobes, and are dark green on top, blue-green beneathLeaves remain green throughout the growing season with little fall color. Insignificant flowers (catkins) are followed by oval acorns. Fall colours are non-showy, pale yellow to brown. Height: 15-18 m - Spread: 5-6 m. Family : Fagaceae
