Syringa vulgaris Glory - A heritage lilac from Lemoine with sweetly scented purple-pink flowers that open from deep purple buds; upright, multi-stemmed habit, very hardy, tends to sucker. Features showy panicles of fragrant violet flowers rising above the foliage in mid spring, which emerge from distinctive purple flower buds. The flowers are excellent for cutting. It has bluish-green foliage throughout the season. Family: Oleaceae
