It is topped in spring by 16-inch spires of pink buds which yield to wispy, starlike ivory flowers. Plants rebloom lightly, so they can flower from spring to mid-summer. ‘Mint Chocolate’ grows to about 16 inches tall and a foot wide. This selection has maple-shaped green leaves with a spidery chocolate-black marking in the centre. Delicate spikes of soft-pink flowers appear in late spring. An excellent choice for edging in the shade garden. Winter foliage colour is rich bronzy-purple. Height: 20-40 cm 8-16 inches - Spread: 25-30 cm 10-12 inches Family : Saxifragaceae
