Ulmus Sapporo Autumn Gold orms an ascending tree with a vase-shaped crown. The trunk starts out smooth and silver-grey but later turns dark blackish-grey and develops grooves. The leaves are 3 to 8 cm long and oval. In the spring they emerge somewhat reddish and in the summer are glossy dark green. The leaves turn golden-yellow in the autumn somewhat depending on the site and temperature. The flowers appear before the leaves. Ulmaceae
