Vicia villosa - Hairy vetch It is a hairy, occasionally climbing, annual plant (sometimes biennial or perennial) reaching up to 150 cm in height. It has compound leaves. Papilionaceous flowers (butterfly-like corolla) are blue, violet, purple, or rarely white. The inflorescence is a dense raceme with 7-22 flowers; inflorescence peduncle equal or longer than the subtending leaf. The fruit is an elliptic legume and brown when mature.  Family: Fabaceae
