Agave palmeri - perennial succulent, the largest Agave species growing in the United States. It produces a basal leaf rosette of fleshy, upright green leaves of up to 4 feet (1.2 m) long, with jagged edges and ending in thick spines of up to 2.4 inches (6 cm) long. Flowers are pale yellow and green and up to 2 inches (5 cm) long and grow on branches in the upper third of the flower spike, up to 16.5 feet (5 m) tall. Family : Agavaceae
