Photo of Begonia melanobullata (Begonia)
Begonia melanobullata – This species shows its signature dark colored bullae from a very young age. Its name refers to the very dark "bubbles or bubbles" of its leaves. It has a remarkable hairiness both on its stem and on the leaves. Its leaves, 13 to 21 cm long, are asymmetrical, bright green with numerous round black protrusions ending in a long trichome. Family: Begoniacea
