Brassica oleracea Coral Queen and Coral Prince - An hybrid feather-leaf Brassica and provides beautiful ornamental color from early fall well into winter. Vigorous plants have thick, sturdy stems and serrated leaves. Larger heads than round- and fringe-leaved varieties. Coral Prince : open rosette of ovate, lobed, dark grey-green outer leaves surrounding creamy-white inner leaves, flushed pink in the centre. Plants are 8 to 12 inches (20 to 30 centimeters) in height. Coral Queen : Frilly burgundy leaves with bright red center. Plants are 8 to 12 inches (20 to 30 centimeters) in height. Light and moderate frosts will intensify the beautiful coloring of Ornamental Kale Brassica plants. If the winter is moderate, it can survive all winter, and in the early spring when temperatures warm, Ornamental Kale will bolt giving yet another attractive look for the landscape.
