About Brassica Toscano (kale vegetable – chou frisé)

Brassica oleracea var. acephala Toscano - kale vegetable – chou frisé  - An italian heirloom also known as "dinosaur" kale. Very decorative Kale variety that has beautiful blue-green large cut leaves reminiscent of palm trees. The leaves are finely ruffled. Decorative Kales grown to be eaten and yet its coarse, blue-green leaves are ornamental. Rich, tender leaves have a softer texture than curly green kales. Very tolerant to the cold, the plants will survive the first frosts. Height: 1-2 feet - Spread: 1-2 feet. Family: Brassicaceae
