About Camellia Hiryu (Camellia)

Camellia sasanqua Hiryu - A multi-stemmed evergreen shrub with an upright spreading habit of growth. Masses of lovely, large, semi-double rose-pink  round flowers; lustrous, evergreen leaves and vigorous, upright habit. Very popular variety. Deep rose shading to red with rose overtones and yellow eyes at the ends of the branches from mid fall to late winter. It has dark green foliage. The small glossy pointy leaves remain dark green throughout the winter. A very hardy vigorous grower. Height 4m; Width 1.5m. Family : Theaceae
