Photo of Citrus Dancy (mandarin Tree)
Citrus reticulata Dancy - It is a large, densely foliated, mostly thornless, evergreen tree with fragrant white flowers. The fruit, which tends to be produced in alternate years, is sweet, juicy, thin-skinned, easy to peel. It should be cut from the tree rather than pulled to avoid damaging the fruit. ‘Dancy’ grows 12 to 15 ft. tall and 10 to 25 ft. wide but is also available as a semi-dwarf tree that grows 6 to 10 ft. tall and 4 to 6 ft. wide. Family: Rutaceae
