Photo of Deschampsia Bronzeschleier (Tufted Hair-grass or Tussock grass)
Deschampsia cespitosa Bronzeschleier - It has clumps of narrow, deep green leaves and slender, arching stems that bear a prodigious display of plumes. When back-lit by the sun the plumes create a translucent bronze-hued veil above the foliage. The grass can grow to 3.3 ft tall from May to October.
