Fraxinus pennsylvanica Summit - 'Summit' is a male cultivar that is a vigorous, pyramidal tree that produces a strong central leader. Foliage turns yellow in fall, with the quality of the fall color often varying considerably from year to year. It has an ovate crown, becoming round later. At a height of 15 m the spread is 3 m. The crown is densely closed. Older trunks are slightly furrowed and brown-grey. The young twigs, without lenticels, turn from olive-green to light brown. The leaf turns yellow in autumn after which it drops rather soon. After the inconspicuous flowering fruits are seldom produced. Famille : Oleaceae
