Hosta Funky Monkey - It is a medium sized plant that emerges chartreuse with deep red/black petioles, the color extending high into the leaf veins on the undersides. The petioles are long and the leaves do not cover them, showcasing the deep color. As the season progresses, some leaves turn all gold, some leaf centers turn gold and the edges deepen to a lustrous green, however the irregular borders are unlike any typical variegation. a medium Hosta that has lavender-purple flowers and grows in sun/shade. The height is 35 to 40 cm and the growth is fast to medium. Family: iliaceae
