Photo of Hosta Irish Luck (Hosta funkia august lily)
Hosta Irish Luck - (Wilkins, 1995) - incredibly shiny finish on the leaves, like a glossy lacquer painted on each leaf. They are very dark green with pie crust rippled margins, deep veining, and good substance. This hosta grows quickly to form an upright vase-shaped clump in the landscape. Due to its H. plantaginea parentage, it exhibits some sun tolerance and produces sweetly fragrant, lavender flowers well above the foliage in late summer. Family: Liliaceae
