Hosta Kabitan - (F. Maekawa/AHS 1987) - Long wavy golden leaves have a thin green margin. Leaves emerge bright gold with a wavy green margin. In summer the center of the leaf becomes more chartreuse especially when grown in a shady location. Excellent contrast and low growth make this hosta great for the front of the shade garden. Can be slow to get established but makes a full dense clump when mature.Pale purple flowers appear in late summer. (Mature Size: 10"T x 24"W).. Family: Liliaceae
