Hosta Princess of Karafuto aka Hime Karafuto - (M. Soules 1984) - Lance-shaped deep green leaves with a thin ruffled cream to white margin that varies in width with some overlapping of the white on the green resulting in grey streaking. Forms a dense mound of attractive green centered, white margined foliage. Petioles are streaked creamy white and light green. White flowers with pale violet stripes in August. Makes a great addition to the small and miniature hosta gardens. 'Princess of Karafuto' is also known as Hosta 'Hime Karafuto'. (Mature Size: 8"T x 20"W). Family: Liliaceae
