Photo of Larix Little Bogle (European larch conifer )
Larix kaempferi Little Bogle - It is an bushy, irregular upright growing selection of European larch with rich dark green foliage which turns golden yellow before being shed in the fall. Branchlets often grow with a distinct slight twist. It is one of the few of such selections that will form a distinct leader at a young age. These qualities make for significant architectural interest in the landscape. After 10 years of growth. a mature specimen will measure 4 feet (1.3 m) tall and 3 feet (1 m) wide, an annual growth rate of 4 to 5 inches (10 - 12.5 cm). Family: Pinaceae
