Salvia pachyphylla - Stems erect, green or reddish. Leaves lance- to widely egg-shaped, entire, densely to sparsely hairy, green to gray, often tinted reddish. Flower heads flat, in a shallow cup of upright bracts, the outer bracts reflexed or spreading. Flowers pink, purple, lavender, or soft white, with woolly hairs on lobes of calyx. Family: Lamiaceae
