Photo of Phlox Jeana (Phlox)
Phlox paniculata Jeana - This best-performing upright phlox produces impressive floral fragrant tubular lavender-pink florets densely packed in large tiered terminal clusters with a darker wine colored eye over a long July to October bloom period. Notwithstanding its attractive flowers it stands out as having excellent resistance to powdery mildew. The 4” blades are a deep healthy green. It is an upright, conical perennial that typically grows in a clump to 2-4' tall and to 3' wide on stiff smooth green stems. Interestingly, the individual flowers are much smaller than any other garden phlox. The flowering period is longer than normal because most of the seed are sterile. Famille : Polemoniaceae
