Pisum sativum Little Sweetie - Snow Pea vegetable - Pois mange-tout - Earliest dwarf bush version of the "snow pea" family. Pods are harvested and eaten before they develop large peas. Stringless. Compact vines eaching only 2 feet at maturity average 25 in/64 cm. Tolerant to July heat and most pea diseases. Snow peas are harvested when their pods are flat and the seeds inside are still very immature and can either be eaten raw or tossed in to stir-frys to add a crunchy texture. Delicious and very productive. Pods are 4 1/2 x 3/4 in/11 1/2 x 2 cm long. Plant about 60 cm tall. Need a support. Family : Fabaceae
