Solanum lycopersicum Garden Peach aka Pêche Jaune - Tomato vegetable - tomate - One of the oldest known varieties, around 1600, native to the Andes Cordillera, Peru. Small fruit of 40 to 80 grams, cocktail type, round yellow with downy skin. Absence of depression at the peduncle attachment, umbilicus in a tiny point. Juicy flesh with lots of seeds, sweet and fragrant flavor. The fruits cannot be kept for more than 48 hours after picking. Variety not very demanding both on the nature of the soil and the climatic conditions, more resistant to diseases. Family: Solanaceae
