Tagetes patula Durango Orange - Marigold is an herbaceous annual with an upright spreading habit of growth. It delivers excellent branching for more blooms and strong stems. Durango produces uniformly shaped, extra-large, 2 to 2.5-in. (5 to 5.5-cm) bright orange anemone flowers at the ends of the stems from late spring to late summer. The flowers are excellent for cutting. Its fragrant ferny leaves remain dark green in color throughout the season. Bushy, vigorous plants are ideal for early Spring. This is a relatively low maintenance plant. Trim off the flower heads after they fade and die to encourage more blooms late into the season. Deer don't particularly care for this plant. Height: 10-12 Inches - Spread: 6-8 Inches.  Family: Asteraceae
