Tradescantia zebrina Red Hill - Has dark green leaves, often flushed with reddish bronze, and silver stripes. The underside of the leaf is purple. It thrives in a temperate climate with fairly high humidity. Tradescantia makes a good ground cover in spots receiving bright indirect light, such as around the base of tall trees which are shady areas. They also serve as a great ornamental plant. Family: Commelinaceae
